Welcome to Candid Conversations with the Sheriff! The MCSO Podcast where we tackle the tough conversations and have fun. This is our debut episode featuring Sheriff Greg Countryman and Command Sergeant Marshall with the MCSO. We wanted to give a brief overview of what we will be covering in Candid Conversations with the Sheriff. Stay tuned! We have plenty more on the way.
Candid Conversations with Sheriff Greg Countryman
Welcome to Candid Conversations with the Sheriff! The MCSO Podcast where we tackle the tough conversations and have fun while doing it. We want to address the tough issues and have an open dialogue with our listeners regarding the efforts of Sheriff Greg Countryman and the Muscogee County Sheriff's Office. We will be talking about our efforts to interrupt gun violence and criminal gang activity, which is imperative to ensuring a safer county for all Citizens. We will talk about our Community Outreach efforts, as we partner with over 100 organizations, businesses, non-profits, and programs to serve the whole Citizen. We will discuss the Jail and programs that we have to reduce the recidivism rate (the number of individuals who return to Jail once released from incarceration). We will also have several special guests including other elected officials, athletes, local celebrities, and of course the awesome men and women of the MCSO. We also will make you laugh as laughter is how we make it through the work day. While law enforcement is an immense responsibility and a serious undertaking, we do like to have fun.
We look forward to getting to know you all and answering your questions! And as our motto states: Working together, accomplishing great things.
